We are a fast-growing career coaching company led by our founder Danielle Bradley, with a track record of success helping our clients land new, exciting roles in mid-career. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Career Coach (independent part-time contractor) to join our team on a contract basis. Our clients are successful professionals, typically with 10+ years of experience in corporate settings (managers, directors, and VP-level executives). 


Position Overview: 

This is a part-time contract Career Coach position (independent contractor) helping us provide stellar support and expert guidance for our clients. The goal is to start with a target of 5 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 10 hours per week. The primary focus will be to provide client support and onboarding in addition to job search and interview coaching to our clients, helping them enhance their skills and confidence to succeed in landing attractive job offers. 


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with executive clients via Zoom. 
  • Develop personalized coaching plans tailored to each client's unique needs and career goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback on interview performance, including body language, communication skills, and answer strategies.
  • Assist clients in identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, and guide them in crafting compelling stories for behavioral interview questions.
  • Stay updated on current job market trends and hiring practices to provide relevant advice and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of client sessions using our CRM system. 


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Career Coach or in a similar role, with a strong track record of helping clients achieve their career goals.
  • Excellent understanding of interview processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and collaborate and liaise with other team members and the founder. 
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and support clients in their personal and professional development via 1:1 sessions and in written format. 
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Availability to work 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust as needed and the ability to accommodate clients in all North American time zones.  


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in career coaching or a related field.
  • Experience conducting virtual coaching sessions using Zoom. 
  • Well-versed in modern resume building, LinkedIn profile optimization, and other job search strategies and interview coaching.
