Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and driven Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective Power BI visualizations

2. Design, develop, and implement visually appealing and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights

3. Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and user-friendliness

4. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create unified datasets for reporting

5. Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data integrity and resolve data-related issues

6. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to validate report accuracy and troubleshoot any potential issues

7. Collaborate with the business analysts and data scientists to understand data models and design effective data visualizations

8. Assist in training end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure proper utilization of Power BI reports

9. Document the report development process, including data sources, data transformations, and report design, for future reference

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in creating complex reports and dashboards

3. Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices

4. Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes

5. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience using Snowflake Database

2. Knowledge of data analytics and statistical concepts

3. Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations

4. Experience with industry standard financial and headcount terminology

5. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView
