Position Overview

Your job as a Senior Workplace Strategist is to lead clients and partner with our Design Teams to create and deliver transformative workplace experiences for projects across North America.

As a Senior Workplace Strategist, it will be your job to lead a Project Team as you observe, assess and address our clients’ workplaces and their functionality; come up with innovative and thoughtful workplace strategies; then communicating your recommendations to both client and project teams, all with the objective of improving design quality, workplace performance, and ensuring alignment with our client’s business goals.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy efforts on projects, confidently managing client expectations and decision making
  • Provide recommendations with respect to workplace planning, design, architecture, wellness and sustainability
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop occupancy plans and planning studies
  • Prepare findings and briefs that translate large quantities of information into concise and visual recommendations
  • Research and analyze global shifts and trends in work behaviors to develop and improve recommendations with respect to the physical, digital and social workplaces
  • Take initiative to research the development and application of new tools that assess, measure and enhance performance and related human/ organizational topics
  • Support business development efforts by providing materials demonstrating the value-add strategy brings to the firm’s efforts


Job Requirements

In this position, we are looking for a Senior Workplace Strategist that is passionate about workplace strategy. You must be someone who loves uncovering unique solutions to complicated problems; who is comfortable with ambiguity; has strong client management skills; can work with minimal supervision or guidance; and can lead a Project team with an eagerness to mentor a team of more junior Strategists.


Qualifications & Key Competencies:

  • Minimum of 8 years working in a similar role within an AEC company
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Strategy or related
  • CCMP, PROSCI or other change management certification is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in areas of Organizational Analysis; Human Behaviors Analysis; Data Analysis; Strategic Planning & Alignment; Change Management
  • Understanding of space densities and density planning
  • Comfortable with technology for virtual collaboration and mobile work
  • Excellent oral and written communication, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, customer service driven, detail oriented and with excellent analytical skills
