We are working with a construction materials manufacturer in Mississauga to recruit for a direct-hire Maintenance Clerk position.

  • Annual salary: $50k to $65k + benefits
  • Direct hire - permanent job with an international manufacturer
  • Monday to Friday - Flexible hours - Day Shift
  • 80% office environment, 20% Plant/Maintenance Shop

The Maintenance Clerk holds a crucial position in handling the administrative responsibilities of the maintenance department in a manufacturing/factory setting. The individual in this role should be adept at managing a variety of tasks, such as ordering maintenance parts, production consumables, processing purchase orders, record keeping, reporting, and data entry. The Maintenance Clerk oversees and controls all inventory and purchasing activities to ensure that necessary parts and supplies are available as needed. The Maintenance Coordinator may also be involved in minor repairs within the department. Additionally, the Maintenance Clerk will provide direct support to the Maintenance Manager with all administrative duties.


Must Have Skills and Experience:

  • Familiar with basic mechanical and electrical parts
  • Fluent and proficient with business communication in English
  • Experience with ordering parts and dealing directly with vendors is preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to learn new purchasing and CMMS software
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Excel and budget keeping
