We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the testing of PV products, working closely with the Engineering design team. This role involves performing design verification tests, developing test processes, analyzing test data, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test PV products and perform design verification tests in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Wire test setups using grid simulators, PV simulators, and data analyzers.
  • Assist in the development of test processes and procedures.
  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and write reports to ensure product compliance.
  • Assist in upgrading and maintaining lab equipment.
  • Support product testing and verification of second source components.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of test engineering experience.
  • Experience with system, subassembly, and board-level testing.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment (DVMs, scopes, power analyzers).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills at the system, subassembly, and board levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Experience with AC/DC power converters, inverters, and chargers.
  • Background in power electronics and safe work practices for high power AC/DC systems.
  • Experience with environmental test chambers (thermal, THB).
  • Proficiency with mechanical tools (drill press, milling machines, etc.) and PCBA rework.
  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes.
