Overview

Fountain Tire Swift Current is looking for a skilled, full time, Journeyman Automotive Service Technician.

You will get to:

Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency Completing approved service on customer vehicles Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups. Advising customers and Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries Participating in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire

What does it take to get on track?

Licensed or Journeyman Status in the Automotive Service Technician trade 5+ years of automotive experience (diesel experience preferred)  Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with little supervision Commitment to providing a superior customer experience Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
