As a Data Engineering Manager within our Data & AI Practice, you’ll leverage a client-centric approach to translate our client’s business strategy into solutions and services that lead to successful, impactful outcomes. You’ll engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and contribute to shape the strategic direction around data architecture. You’ll collect, aggregate, store and reconcile data from multiple sources, helping to design and build data pipelines, streams, reporting tools, data generators and a whole range of tools to provide information and insight. You develop the predictive analytics that helps clients succeed. You will be working with our clients in the Public Sector •You’re an organized problem-solver with a talent for business, whose knowledge and experience helps turn business needs into solutions •You guide and support your team, whether at home or around the world, to provide successful and accessible data analytics that solve real-world problems •Use proven methods to solve business problems using Azure Data and Analytics services in combination with building data pipelines, data streams and system integration •Knowledge of multiple Azure data services and Databricks •Experience in preparing data for and building pipelines and architecture. •Experience working in the Public Sector in Canada •You have more than 5 year(s) of prior related work experience leading technical teams (10+) and architecting large scale projects •You are comfortable to make your own decisions and guide your colleagues •Analytical, curious, agile •Team player and good communicator •Have proven track record of mentoring others on the team •Problem-solver, patient, quality-driven •Self-motivating •Innovative mindset.•Lead technical teams on client engagements leveraging the Azure Stack in the Public Sector •Use your sound business acumen to translate business requirements into technical solutions •Analyze current business practices, processes and procedures to spot future opportunities •Create the building blocks for transforming enterprise data solutions •Design and build modern data pipelines, data streams, and reports •Create the architectures, data warehouses and databases that support access and Advanced Analytics, and bring them to life through modern visualization tools •Share your knowledge and give solution support on proposals, supporting sales teams •Manage the requirements gathering, analysis and design phases of projects •Share your knowledge of best practices in analytics platforms, business intelligence, data management and Big Data •Identify new analytics tools and techniques
