YOUR MISSIONAs an Accounts Payable Technician, your role will involve overseeing the entire accounts payable process, including handling all tasks associated with recording and processing the operating expenses that Moment Factory and its affiliated companies are responsible for.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Enter and code supplier invoices into the accounting system ; Verify that sales taxes are accurate ; Ensure invoices are approved according to the company's approval matrix ; Compare invoices, receipts, and purchase orders to ensure quantities, descriptions, and prices match ; Communicate with the Procurement team to resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders ; Ensure supplier invoices are processed within prescribed deadlines ; Issue payments (EFT, Wire, and occasional checks) ; Create new suppliers in the system and ensure all necessary information is obtained ; Track problematic invoices and obtain missing supporting documents ; Reconcile supplier statements ;Track supplier credits ; Act as a point of contact for accounts payable inquiries from different departments ; Produce and reconcile the aging of supplier accounts and resolve balance discrepancies. Other: Provide support to other accounting functions as needed ; Participate in strategies for optimizing and continuously improving the accounting process.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

DEP/DEC in Accounting or Business Administration ; At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a paperless environment ; Proficiency in MS Office suite ; Experience with an ERP software, knowledge of Netsuite software, an asset ; Bilingualism (French and English), both verbally and in writing (you will be communicating with English-speaking clients in this position).
