Math-STEM Tutor

Auxiliary, On-Call

8-12 hours/week

September 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025

Duties: This position reports to the Manager of the Learning Commons and focuses on assisting students in understanding and applying mathematical and scientific concepts relevant to their respective academic programs. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive learning environment in alignment with the College's strategic directives.

Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in Math or a STEM related field is preferred. Minimum two years previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly in a post-secondary academic setting. Strong proficiency in a wide range of STEM topics.

As an employee of the College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.

Salary: $26.00 per hour including 4% vacation pay
