Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Multimedia Specialist who will contribute to the creation, implementation, maintenance, and performance of media assets in our Distributive Learning (DL) application. This role will be responsible for creating and editing graphics, video, and audio assets to enhance our Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and align with the learning objectives presented throughout. The specialist will work with a development team to aid instructional designers (ISD) and subject matter experts (SME) in the ideation, design, and implementation of media in learning exercises throughout the DL application.

Design, develop, and maintain all multimedia assets in alignment with our design standards. Contribute and further establish consistent design standards for the DL application and its various graphic assets. Create custom graphics and animations using Adobe Creative Suite, and or other design software. Collaborate with a team of instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts to produce design documentation to enhance digital learning content. Contribute and aid in the maintenance of the multimedia repository and ensure proper documentation is kept for all media assets e.g. source files, working files, and copyright information. Ensure all media assets are properly compressed and ready for production. Implement Section 508 accessibility standards wherever applicable to ensure compliance. Ensure timeliness while working on tasks throughout an agile product lifecycle. Perform other related duties and assignments as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Payrate: $30.27 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: An Associate degree in multimedia design, digital media, or related field. A minimum of three years of experience incorporating audio and narration-driven navigation technology into IMI courseware. Demonstrate proficiency in production and editing of audio and video assets. Demonstrates the ability to monitor and contribute to agile production sprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with foreign language audio preferred. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software (Figma preferably). Strong understanding of design principles and their implementation. Demonstrate proficiency in developing design systems. Possess a keen eye for detail and conduct quality assurance assessments. Ability to compress graphic assets to reduce file size without losing quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Provide an online portfolio of work.
