YWCA Metro Vancouver is seeking Junior Accountant to provide accounting support to our building communities and programs.

What you’ll be doing

Maintain Accounts Receivable listing. Maintain Security Deposit listing. Posting Journal Entries in Sage 300. Assist with Grant Reporting. Perform Account Analysis and Account Reconciliations. Assist with budgeting and audit preparation. Assist with inventory management of client bus tickets and gift cards. Performs other finance duties and support as assigned.

What you’ll need:

3-5 years relevant accounting experience or accounting knowledge and education equivalent to a 3rd year accounting student. Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Strong general accounting background. Proficient in Excel. Experience in Arcori Property Management system an asset. Experience in Sage 300 an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required. The YWCA Metro Vancouver’s COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended and as a result, vaccination from COVID-19 is not required at this time. However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to be eligible to continue performing your duties.
