What You'll Do

Perform basic set-up, calibration and testing, computer assembly, component insertion, and software installation

Responsible for product hardware and software configuration work

Refurbish product including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product

Test and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, monitor and computer related accessories

Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings and diagrams

Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing

Prepare technical reports

May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment

Assist with customer technical support when required

Provide product specification, product configuration and details of service offerings to both internal associates and TD Synnex customers when required

Assist with bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, LCD monitor)

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm .

What We're Looking For

1+ year related experience

Experience with electronics and computer related product and peripheral equipment

Assembling computer and configuration of peripheral equipment

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

College diploma or above in computer hardware and network related area is asset

A+ certification is asset

Ability to complete the required technical training certification in order to get authorized as Service/Product test provider

Ability to read, comprehend and implement test procedures from written documentation

Ability to review test procedures and understand failure analysis

Must be able to effectively work within a team environment

Meet weight lifting requirement of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Be able to stand for long periods of time

Be able to work with precision tolling in small places

Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Ce que vous ferez

Effectuer les réglages de base, la calibration et les tests, l'assemblage des ordinateurs, l'insertion de composants et l'installation de logiciels

Responsable de la configuration du matériel et des logiciels des produits

Remettre à neuf les produits, y compris le réemballage, le réimage, le démontage, le réassemblage et le nettoyage les produits

Tester et diagnostiquer les accessoires liés aux ordinateurs de bureau, aux portables, aux moniteurs et autres accessoires informatiques

Aider au développement de spécifications de test basées sur des exigences écrites ou des procédures, des plans, des dessins et des schémas

Effectuer des retouches sur des assemblages et/ou des systèmes à la suite de tests

Préparer des rapports techniques

Peut assister dans la sélection et l'installation d'équipements de test spécialisés

Fournir un soutien technique aux clients, si nécessaire

Fournir des spécifications de produits, des configurations de produits et des détails sur les offres de services aux associés internes et aux clients de TD SYNNEX, si nécessaire

Aider avec les réparations en atelier (réparation d'ordinateurs, de portables, de moniteurs à ACL)

Les heures de travail sont du lundi au vendredi, de 8 h 30 à 17 h.

Ce que nous recherchons

1 an d'expérience dans un domaine connexe

Expérience avec les produits électroniques et les équipements périphériques liés aux ordinateurs

Expérience en assemblage d'ordinateurs et en configuration d'équipements périphériques

Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent GED requis

Diplôme collégial ou plus dans un domaine lié au matériel informatique et aux réseaux est un atout

Certification A+ est un atout

Capacité à compléter la certification technique requise pour être autorisé en tant que fournisseur de tests de produits ou de services

Capacité à lire, à comprendre et à mettre en œuvre des procédures de test à partir de documents écrits

Capacité à examiner les procédures de test et à comprendre l'analyse des échecs

Capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d'une équipe

Capacité de soulever jusqu'à 50 lb sur une base régulière

Capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes

Capacité à travailler avec des outils de précision dans de petits espaces

Maîtrise de Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
