Join our team as a Mining Parts Advisor and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service. Your mission will be to support our Service team to significantly decrease operating costs and minimize equipment downtime for our customers. This role demands an understanding of trade practices, focusing on parts and major components specific to mining equipment. Elevate our customer experience by leveraging your expertise and dedication to excellence.

The role requires flexibility to cover a 7/7 rotation as needed. The typical shift operates on a 5/2 schedule, from Monday to Friday. Inventory counts in Fort MacKay twice per year. 

Responsibilities

Uphold Liebherr's Environmental, Health, and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment. Offer specialized parts advice and support to both internal and external mining customers, enhancing operational efficiency. Efficiently process parts orders for mining customers across Canada, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Collaborate with the Parts Planner to confirm parts availability for scheduled deliveries and coordinate urgent orders to minimize machine downtime. Establish and maintain strong connections with Liebherr factories and distribution centers to ensure smooth operations. Regularly review stock orders to guarantee necessary parts are on track and proactively communicate any delays to customers. Handle all returns in accordance with Liebherr Canada's return policy, ensuring a seamless process. Assist with inventory counts at the Acheson and Fort MacKay branch, contributing to accurate stock management. Work closely with the service supervisor to manage parts and consumables for the Fort McKay location, ensuring support equipment is adequately supplied. Create purchase orders as needed, manage invoicing through customer portals or direct email, and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies. Process and manage core claims with corresponding factories, including coordination of core returns and the issuance of credit notes.

Competencies

3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson/Red Seal license required.  Previous experience in heavy equipment parts preferred.  A positive attitude and team-oriented approach. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong passion for learning, with adaptability to thrive in an evolving industry.
