Description

: Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs Working in both a field and shop setting Interface with customers, products and sales support Working with the Supervisor on various tasks Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (required) Minimum 5 year experience as a Heavy Duty Technician including some field experience Completion, or in the process of completing, Finning S-level courses Dedication to safety

Assets:

Understanding of the Caterpillar product line Engine and/or component experience/familiarity Transmission or Hydraulic testing Paving equipment maintenance and setup experience

Note:

This position is for a 7x7 shift schedule, based out of our Calgary facility Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the collective agreement A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
