This position will work 7 night shifts (23:00-07:15) every 2 weeks in the UAH dispensary/sterile room. This specialized schedule ensures you will always have a colleague by your side, fostering collaboration and team work, while providing a strong support team. This unique shift distribution offers work-life balance, alongside a nightshift premium. We strive to provide a balanced schedule, however, recognize that operational pressures may arise. Our shift distribution may be subject to change.

Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

As required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous dispensary experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.Previous sterile compounding experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.Competence with Connect Care preferred.
