Sommaire des responsabilités
Sous la responsabilité gestionnaire clinique, le titulaire effectue des examens diagnostiques de la physiologie des organes à l’aide de substances radioactives en vue de permettre au médecin de poser un diagnostic. Il utilise des techniques ayant pour but de produire des images qui servent à établir un diagnostic dans le cas du radiodiagnostic et de la médecine nucléaire.
Étant donné la présence et l’utilisation de substances radioactives propres à la médecine nucléaire, le titulaire doit faire preuve de constance dans le respect des normes de sécurité ambiantes et respecter les mesures strictes en matière de radioprotection qui doivent être appliquées pour celui-ci, pour les patients et pour l’entourage.
Profil d'exigences
• Détenir un diplôme d’études collégiales en technologie de médecine nucléaire;
• Être membre actif de l’Ordre des technologues en radiation médicale de l’Ontario (OTRMO);
• Être membre actif de l’Association Canadienne des Technologues en Radiation Médicale (ACTRM);
• Détenir un certificat valide en réanimation cardiorespiratoire;
• Posséder un minimum de six (6) mois d’expérience à titre de technologue autorisé en milieu hospitalier;
• Maîtriser les deux langues officielles (français et anglais) à l’oral et à l’écrit à un niveau intermédiaire,
Atout
• Détenir des connaissances du système PACS et Méditech.
