Marketing and Member Relations Manager

What you’ll do:
Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote Meadow Lake Co-op's products and services effectively; Lead the donations and sponsorship program that is integral to Meadow Lake’s Co-op values. Pro-actively identify partners and opportunities that benefit our strategic direction, purpose, and develop mechanisms to measure and evaluate return on investment. Identify tools and channels to promote partnerships to external audiences; Create and manage content development and execution for Meadow Lake Co-op’s external digital channels (website, social media). To grow on-line engagement and interaction, develop content, monitor publishing, and diplomatically respond to posts on social media channels, with messaging that aligns to Meadow Lake Co-op’s guiding statements and brand; Develop and foster strong working relationships with others across all departments and with FCL. Enable and foster an environment of open and transparent communication across all levels of the organization. Builds and maintains critical relationships with Mid and Senior Level Managers, HR Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager; Develop and implement annual work plans and budgets for areas of responsibility in coordination with the General Manager. Contribute to establishing annual business plans for such activities and evaluate and measure progress and performance against goals and outcomes; Work with key internal stakeholders including the General Manager and Human Resources to implement employee programs and campaigns that drives team member engagement and develops our team members to be brand ambassadors in the community. Works with stakeholders to support change initiatives, internal messaging, and crisis situations by drafting communications appropriate to specific audiences; Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and member relations initiatives through KPIs and analytics; Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform marketing strategies; Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify trends and opportunities; Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.Why it matters:

Who you are:
You are passionate about a career in Marketing and:
A University Degree or Certificate in marketing, advertising, sales, business administration or equivalent; 2 – 5 years’ experience in marketing or marketing related field; Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management; Proven track record in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, internet marketing and direct marketing campaigns / programs; Direct experience with graphic design, web page and other marketing-related software tools including Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Lo-know, Venus etc. is an asset; Knowledge of ethical marketing best practices and associated regulations; Demonstrated proficiency in internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions; Hands on experience with search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and other web-focused initiatives; Ability to build and sustain relationships with key business partners; Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet deadlines; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable; Experience in the areas of marketing, member relations, selling, printing, design is preferred; High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability; Liaison between Meadow Lake Co-op and the community to ensure the success of marketing programs and projects; Be creative and innovative in a way that captivates audiences and drives results; Have a positive attitude and be optimistic in your approach to all tasks and responsibilities.Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employee/employer-contributed pension plan.
