YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

:

Reporting to the Process Plant Planning General Supervisoryou will be part of the Process Plant MaintenanceDepartment. The Process Plant Maintenance Planner will be responsible for providing planning and support services to the Process Plant Maintenance team to ensure that all plant activities at the Detour Lake Mine are structured in a safe, efficient, cost effective manner and with minimal disruption to process operations. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Produce detailed timelines and material requirements for weekly maintenance schedules and update as a result of monitoring performance to the plan; Create work packages for routine and critical jobs; Maintain and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP) to its full potential and assist and encourage others to do the same; Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to improve safety, efficient execution of tasks, reduce costs and increase reliability; Assist in the creation of maintenance operating cost forecasts, budgets and monthly maintenance reports; Work closely with the operations team and the maintenance supervisors to produce a weekly schedule; Analyze maintenance procedures and make recommendations to optimize effectiveness.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Technical trade qualification in a Maintenance or Engineering field, coupled with a minimum of four years’ direct experience in a Maintenance/Process department; Knowledge of maintenance planning practices and an understanding of the maintenance scheduling process; Expertise in SAP; Good work ethic and strong attitude towards safety; Strong communication and highly organized; Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
