The Sales Manager is responsible for:
Managing client relationships will all of their repped product lines by way of check ins, meetings, delivering presentations, creating reports, and answering inquiries. Leading and managing a team of 6 to 8 sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and exceed sales targets. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the municipal and mechanical industries, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identifying market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for expansion within the target sectors, and provide insights to inform business decisions. Monitoring sales performance metrics, analyzing data, and preparing regular reports to evaluate team performance and track progress towards the goal. Collaborating cross-functionally with other team members and manager to optimize product offering and address customer needs effectively. Staying up to date on industry developments, product knowledge, regulations and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
You and Your Experience:
You must be willing to travel to tradeshows, manufacturing facilities, and sales initiatives throughout Canada, US and overseas (approximately 5-10%). You have a proven track record of successfully managing a sales team and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment. You have 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in sales, and customer service. You have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards a common goal. Proficient in CRM Software, Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point, knowledge of AutoCAD would be considered an asset. This role is an in-office position which requires travel and flexible working hours based on customer and business needs. Our client offers:
