Position Details:
Up to 40 hrs / week PT/FT option Monday-Friday 9am - 7pm, Sat 10am - 4pm, Sun closed.Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.
Focus on clinical services (, medication reviews, disease state management) Initiate care plans, follow up and document Administer vaccines Determine appropriateness of drug therapy Monitor medication adherence Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information Recommend OTC products and vitamins Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activitiesQualifications & Skills :
Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Manitoba Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred) Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care Good verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-directed and able to work independently. Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalismWhat we Offer:
