This may be the job for you Our Portage la Prairie location is looking for a Service Technician to perform basic to complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on lawn and grounds care equipment. Other duties will include:
- Perform basic to complex electronic and computer diagnostics and determines what adjustments and repairs are needed.
- Performs all service and repairs as required.
- Participates in all job-related training and development.
- Maintains current product knowledge of, lawn care equipment and competitive products.
- Maintains condition of tools and equipment
- Set up and pre-delivery inspection of new equipment
- Maintain a safe work environment following the guidelines of workplace health and safety and Enns Brothers
The wage range for this position is $18.00-$25.00 / hour dependent on qualification and experience; also comes with an employee purchase program, comprehensive health and dental benefits, disability and life insurance benefits and a group RRSP program. Required Skills
- Experience working in a service technician role
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of equipment
- Knowledge of small engines and other mechanical, electrical and fluid systems
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent skills in equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
Required Experience
- Small engine repair course completion or equivalent is an asset
- Drivers License and clear abstract is an asset
- Experience working in a service technician role
