As a key member of our sales and design team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our projects while enjoying the unique lifestyle and opportunities that come with living in the North. Aurora Freightliner & Aurora Manufacturing builds Vacuum Truck Tanks, Water Truck Tanks, B620-20 Fuel Tankers, ULC S601-14 storage tanks, and a CWB welding facility

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technical research, feasibility studies, and data analysis to support project development. Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions. Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD or BricsCAD software. Perform material take-offs and create full sets of shop drawings for pre-fabricated tanks and bodies. Generate 3D renderings of tanks, bodies, and manufactured components for sales literature. Assist in estimating project costs and developing accurate project bids. Participate in the drafting and design of new engineering solutions and product designs. Review current processes and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency. Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Maintain organized records of engineering drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering Technology or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD or BricsCAD and other engineering design software. Strong understanding of engineering principles, drafting techniques, and technical codes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is an asset. Relevant professional certifications or licenses may be required based on specific job requirements.
