As a member of the nursing and interdisciplinary team, the HCA supports the overall provision of care as assigned, assisting the patient with activities of daily living (examples include personal care, feeding, mobility), comfort ( bed positioning), and safety. The HCA also provides indirect services to support the overall provision of care in their assigned area.
