In this role, you will: Be the bridge between multiple parties including: our businesses partners, control functions, technology partners and Derivative Hedge Qualification, responsible for delivering exciting system enhancement/upgrade. Work closely with IT support for Hedge Accounting & qualification System (HAQS) and other IT teams to ensure that proposed changes to HAQS and its feeder systems do not have an adverse impact on the hedge qualification and P&L volatility. Ensure that all system changes are fully tested and implemented properly and do not impact the performance of the existing functionality. lead direct report to work with team members raising/testing/releasing JIRAs for HAQS issue fixing/functional enhancements/upgrade including minor fixings to large projects, review and approve required documentation. Coordinate various initiatives/projects from system side, including HAQS adaption due to enhancement/changes from upstream/downstream systems or changes driven by market. Coordinate smart automation including EUC automation and system related controls such as access control. Manage direct reports by establishing performance objectives, defining roles & expectations, measuring and providing timely feedback. Providing direction, coaching and training for the continued development of direct reports

Motivating, coaching, curious, analytical, and collaborative; problem-solving, time-management and communication skills is required. Proactive and creative, with strong, proven ability to plan and manage competing priorities. Detailed-oriented with proven ability to analyze and document complex systems. Solid knowledge of hedge accounting, finance and financial products including various derivatives. Post-secondary degree in Finance/Accounting/business/Computer science with a minimum of 7 years experiences. Knowledge of the Bank’s operations, procedures, HAQS, PEAK, JIRA, PeopleSoft EGL, OBI, Excel, Power Point;
