Fine Gold Resources is a precious metals mining company operating in the Yukon. We operate on a seasonal basis from March to October and are looking for a qualified Tire Repair / Lube Technician to join our team as we prepare for the 2024 season.
This position is best suited to individuals who enjoy working hard for half the year and playing hard for the rest of it. Typically, our employees work in the Yukon during the warmer months and travel south for the winter.
We provide accommodations and meals at our on-site camp and offer a highly competitive compensation package.

The mine operates 24/7 with two shifts each day - a day shift and a night shift - with a rotation schedule. During their time off employees may stay on-site at the camp or venture to Dawson City for some time away.
Job Duties
Tire Repair:
Perform tire installation, balancing and repairs with precision and efficiency. Conduct wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle / equipment performance. Work collaboratively with parts / maintenance personnel to complete necessary repairs. Perform regular and preventative tire maintenance. Maintain repair documentation as required. Perform other related duties.Lube Technician:
Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures. Receive direction from the mine supervisor for the day-to-day operations work schedule. Complete chassis lubrication, oil, and oil filter changes. Inspection of all equipment fluid levels air and cabin air filtration devices, belts, batteries, and other wear items and reporting on the status of such components. Keep track of inventory of services on the machinery.Perform other functions as maybe directed from time to time.
Qualifications
Experience with lubrication of equipment is an asset.Experience with tire maintenance and repair is an asset. Physically fit to do manual labour and heavy lifting. Ability to work day and night shifts.
