In your role, you will

Advise various internal teams on Labor and Employment and Data Privacy matters. Ensure compliance with international and local Data Privacy laws and regulations in collaboration with the Data Protection Officer (DPO).  Review and draft various legal documents (e.g. contracts, policies, etc.).  Act as Bombardier's representative in mediations or hearings (e.g. Arbitration or Administrative Labor Tribunal).  Manage litigation files with external lawyers worldwide.  Collaborate with internal teams to assess data protection risks in the event of incidents.  Participate in the development and implementation of tools and trainings for internal teams. Any other task relevant to the role may be assigned. 

As our ideal candidate

You have between six (6) to ten (10) years of relevant experience (during which you have practiced in the field of Labor and Employment and Data Privacy) as a legal advisor in a reputable law firm and/or in-house. You are a member of the Quebec Bar. Membership of the Ontario Bar or a degree in Common Law is an asset.  You have the knowledge and ability to interpret applicable legislation and regulations relating to Data Privacy.  You are fluent in French and English (proficiency in both languages is essential given the international scope).  You are at ease in a fast-paced environment and you have the ability to manage multiple priorities.  You can reconcile compliance requirements with practical business needs.  You work well in a team but have the ability to work independently.  You are available to travel occasionally if necessary.
