About the job: 

Weare seeking a skilled Consultant/ Senior Consultant to join our team and takeon a pivotal role in managing insurance projects for our clients. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, andknowledge of pricing strategies, practices, principles, and processes. As aConsultant with the Insurance practice, you will work closely with our clientsto analyze their needs, develop tailored solutions, and oversee theimplementation of their transformation programs.

Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, risk profile, and business requirements, through interviews and workshops Conduct comprehensive analyses of clients' existing arrangements, including policy terms, coverage limits, and pricing structures Develop and implement actuarial and underwriting models such as exposure and experience rating, adapting them for web-based platforms Transform Excel raters (pricing models) to web-based platforms, coordinating across various products and lines of business Collaborate with a team of developers, actuaries and underwriters, ensuring clear communication and alignment of technical objectives and business needs Utilize Python for programming, with a substantial understanding of SQL and database management to support effective data integration and analysis Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and compliance in all models and systems, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients regarding pricing-related issues, inquiries, and claims Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance landscape

About you:

Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, or a related field like Data Science, Statistics or Mathematics At least 3- 8 years of experience in an Insurance/ Reinsurance or consultancy firm Advanced knowledge of pricing software/ tools like Verisk, HX, Earnix etc. is an advantage Proficiency in Python is required, knowledge of R, would be an asset Project management and effective change management skills to execute work through the various phases of the project lifecycle Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds, and build positive relationships with clients Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required Experience in target operating model and process design & development, project and stakeholder management would be an asset Willingness to travel as required
