Apprentice Electrician

Responsibilities: Work independently, with team or with other trades Perform duties assigned by the Journeyperson
Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
Install electrical equipment and run cables  Ensure that work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Registered as an apprentice with provincial/territorial regulatory body.
Minimum of year previous electrical experience, preferably on commercial / institutional work sites.
Basic knowledge of electrical safety guidelines when working with power sources. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics preferred. 
A strong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals. Ability to work in a team. Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall Protection, WHMIS , Elevated Work Platform, Level First Aid. Valid Class driver's license. Willing to work out of town on rotations.
