Position Summary :

Victimology is the study of the victim’s experience with the criminal justice system. Topics in this course may include psychological impacts of crime, the process and impact of victimization, legal approaches to the victims, services provided to victims, restorative justice and emerging understandings of the victim.

Qualifications – Required: Master’s Degree

Qualifications - Other: MA in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a cognate discipline (e.g. sociology / psychology) with a focus on crime or deviance. Work experience in the field is an asset, as is prior teaching experience. (MEd / EdD will not be considered to meet the minimum educational requirement). PhD or ABD preferred.

Salary: $9,206.40
