ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Installation and Testing:
    • Equipment installations and testing both on-site and off-site, following drawings and client specifications, maintaining the highest level of quality and efficiency in all installations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Print drawings, labels, and document any changes made during assembly or installation for thorough record-keeping.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to the team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout projects.
  • Project Coordination and Communication:
    • Act as a liaison with clients, serving as the 'Site Lead' to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Interpret and understand Scope of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOM), and drawing packages to facilitate effective implementation.
  • Quality Assurance and Client Support:
    • Conduct Site Readiness checks and spot inspections to verify system readiness and adherence to project requirements.
    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to review functionality and obtain client sign-off, ensuring optimal performance and satisfaction.
  • Additional Accountabilities:
    • Stage and test systems offsite, configuring them according to SOW and client use cases to ensure seamless integration.
    • Commission systems onsite, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project requirements.
    • Provide field and support services as required, meeting client Time & Material (T&M) agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Knowledgeable in the use and back-end management of AV technology, including Crestron DM/NVX, Biamp Tesira, Cisco codecs / video conferencing systems, wired and wireless microphones.
  • Experience in installation procedures and techniques
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies
  • Dedication to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, manufacturer training, and certifications relevant to the role.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities while maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Ability to obtain required security clearances and confidentiality agreements.
  • Physical capability to lift (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Ability to work at height and regularly climb and work on ladders.
  • Flexibility in work hours and locations based on client requirements, with travel to various job sites and locations as needed.
  • Utilization of basic tool kit and adherence to safety protocols for a secure working environment.
  • Requirement for scissor lift certification to fulfill job duties effectively.

OTHER DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Annual salary range: 70-80K CAD per year. 
  • This role will require you to be on-site in office, or at a job site the majority of the time. 
  • After hours and weekend work as needed.
