The Resident Maintenance Technician will handle the day-to-day performance of the material handling equipment supported by his/her specific team. This person’s decisions can have a moderate to high-level impact on business operations. This role will be based out of Varennes, QC.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

Perform at professional level to interpret/process more complex, less-clearly defined issues.

Identify and resolve complex problems.

Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to gain optimum effectiveness.

Participate in development of department budgets and business plans for functional area.

Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures within own area of responsibility.

Identify resource needs and will develop justification.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

Evaluate and analyze: System/equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis and manage resolution of design-performance issues

Gauge, identify, and implement training based on skill assessment results.

Manage KPIs and fault data

Create reports and communication materials to track and report performance issues.

Demonstrate continuous improvement of maintenance and operations of MHE to the customer.

What We are Looking For:

Associates degree, Technical degree, or equivalent experience.

At least 2-3 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of position

Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC controls platforms

DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications platform

Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics ,and control panels

Servo Drives, PC controllers, dc power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders, photoeyes, etc.)

Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems

Lean Principles (4-Step Problem Solve, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)

Effectuer au niveau professionnel pour interpréter/traiter des problèmes plus complexes et moins clairement définis.

Identifier et résoudre des problèmes complexes.

Définissez les flux de travail, les tâches et les relations hiérarchiques pour obtenir une efficacité optimale.

Participer à l'élaboration des budgets du département et des plans d'affaires pour le domaine fonctionnel.

Évaluer et recommander des changements de méthodes ou de procédures dans son propre domaine de responsabilité.

Identifier les besoins en ressources et élaborer une justification.

Diagnostiquer et résoudre des problèmes complexes.

Évaluer et analyser : les données de performance du système/de l'équipement, effectuer une analyse des causes profondes et gérer la résolution des problèmes de conception-performance

Évaluez, identifiez et mettez en œuvre la formation en fonction des résultats de l'évaluation des compétences.

Gérer les KPI et les données de panne

Créer des rapports et des supports de communication pour suivre et signaler les problèmes de performance.

Démontrer l'amélioration continue de la maintenance et des opérations de MHE au client.

Ce que nous recherchons :

Diplôme d'associé, diplôme technique ou expérience équivalente.

Au moins 2-3 ans d'expérience réussie dans un domaine directement lié et démonstration réussie du poste

Allen-Bradley ou plates-formes de contrôle PLC équivalentes

Plate-forme de communication réseau DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet ou équivalente

Compétences en dépannage électrique pour inclure le câblage, l'alimentation en courant alternatif, les moteurs à courant alternatif, les dessins/schémas électriques et les panneaux de commande

Servomoteurs, contrôleurs PC, alimentations CC, dispositifs optiques (c.-à-d. encodeurs, cellules photoélectriques, etc.)

Connaissance des équipements automatisés; de préférence des systèmes de manutention automatisés

Principes Lean (résolution de problèmes en 4 étapes, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
