The Staff Accountant will be an integral part of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Firm standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises Examine and analyze client accounting and financial records to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls Preparation of tax returns (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, GST/HST) Participate in special projects as available Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients
A successful candidate will have:
University/College Business Degree/Diploma Ability to consistently meet time sensitive deadlines Bilingualism in French/English is an asset An inclination for attention to details and accuracy High ethical standards
