As a Tool Mechanic working in the Equipment and Logistics team at Pomerleau Construction, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various tools used on our construction sites, such as water pumps, electric panels and battery-powered tools. By supporting work on our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects - ranging from $ million to over $1 billion - you'll play a key role in contributing to the overall success of our projects.

What you will do

Use your expertise to check electrical tools/batteries and other components using the appropriate equipment to determine defects.  Adjust, repair or replace parts or components of mechanical or electrical systems, using hand tools and other equipment.  Service and clean tools and other equipment.  Communicate the general condition of tools and equipment and their operational longevity with the person responsible for the work carried out.  Determine repair costs and parts required for orders.

This role could be for you if you have

1 to 3 years of experience in tool maintenance.  Proficient knowledge of construction tools.

Additional Assets Include:

A professional diploma in industrial mechanics.  Previous experience with welding.  Basic understanding of electrical mechanics (pneumatic).
