Your primary responsibilities will include:

Delivering value to clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions for improving the business, assessing legal implications. Ensuring engagements are executed in accordance with the firm's methodologies and guidance, professional standards, and legal and regulatory requirements. Leading and coordinating the planning and management of assignments in an effective and efficient manner. Securing and enhancing relationships with senior client management. Being a pro-active leader of teams, ensuring team members are properly managed and motivated. Ensuring staff needs, including training and development, are identified and acted upon. Generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions. Developing long-term relationships and networks, both internally and externally.

A successful candidate will have:

A Canadian CPA, CA designation. At least 7 years of public accounting experience. A strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and Canadian corporate and personal tax. A proven ability to develop new business. A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor. Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines. Experience with MS Office, CaseWare and tax return software. Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams. A strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
