This position starts on September 3, 2024 and is for 12 months. This role would be focusing more on the operating system side opposed to the development side.

POSITION PURPOSE
Embark on a 12-month immersive co-op journey into the world with our DevOps team with The Travel Corporation. This co-op role isn’t just about gaining experience; it's an opportunity to play a significant role in the technological landscape of a global travel leader.

JOB FUNTIONS 

Assisting in the administration of our container orchestration environments, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher. Working with colleagues to design and implement new environments in both cloud and on premesis. Getting exposed to cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.  Documenting deployments and configurations of these environments.

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with the Python, Go (Golang), BASH and PowerShell languages. Familiarity with Javascript, C#, YAML, and JSON. Exposure to container orchestration environments such as Kubernetes, and Docker. Familiarity to source code control environments such as GitHub or GitLab Familiarity to deployment software such as Teamcity and Octopus Deploy. Industry certifications are valued but not required.  Previous experience in an IT or network-related role is advantageous.
