As a senior advisor, proposal writer, you will support business development activities by managing and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs). You will also support client relation activities by coordinating the production of content for the quarterly reports. You research, write and prepare service proposals, pitch decks and presentations, and associated deliverables for plan sponsors, advisors, consultants and prospects. You summarize investment concepts, draft narratives on the firm's strategies, and develop and deliver compelling proposals. You also support quarterly reporting for institutional clients by contributing to the review and validation of managers’ commentaries and presentations, and by responding to due diligence questionnaires. To succeed in this role, you need superior effective writing skills to clearly articulate our value proposition and engage the reader. You are able to communicate clearly and concisely in attractive 'plain language' to ensure understanding and appeal. Your outstanding time management skills and proven success meeting tight deadlines and performing in fast-paced and changing environments as well as your excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be enssential for this position. More specifically, you will be required to : 

Collaborate with the Proposal Manager and internal partners (Relationship Managers, Business Development Directors, investment professionals) to determine strategy and respond to questionnaire

Work closely with subject matter experts from across the organization, including investment teams, compliance, legal, and ESG teams, to write and edit standard content, craft customized content , as needed, and maintain standard responses in the content library (QVidian)

Manage the coordination and timely completion of the linguistic reviews and translation of quarterly portfolio and market commentaries with investment professionals and linguistic services

Verify the quality of linguistic reviews and translations of quarterly portfolio and market commentaries, standard proposal responses and narratives

Support business development efforts by drafting narratives and investment concepts for presentations, pitch decks, strategy factsheets and databases

Liaise with other internal support departments to obtain data, supporting documentation, and other responsive information requested in the RFP or DDQ

Support various initiatives related to writing, including reviewing thought leadership texts, whitepapers, and other marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, English llitterature, in technical writting or in a related field

A minimum of four years of relevant experience working in a asset management context

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Previous writing and editing experience

Knowledge of French is required

Complete proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, using MS templates, style sheets and formatting

Advanced knowledge of various asset classes, investment strategies, and financial markets
