What you’ll do:

Create the layout for the weekly print grocery flyer which includes plotting items provided by Category Management Teams, work with suppliers to create multi-product inserts and ensure promotional accuracy.  Proof and edit multiple drafts of print and in-store promotions each week ensuring all timelines are strictly adhered to, ensure all flyer guidelines are met, and review flyer proofs.  Communicate to stakeholders any promotional information including price, item changes, etc.  Communicate effectively with the team members, retails, other departments, suppliers and other stakeholders. Other duties as required. 

Who you’ll work with : 

The Team: You will work closely with two other Promotions Technicians and will report into the Food Marketing Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, support, communication. 

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in ourFood team and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Marketing and Communications.

Who you are:  

You are looking for a career in ​Sales & Marketing​ and: 

Have a recognized two-year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or Marketing. Preference will be given to those applicants who hold a University degree. Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail/wholesale food industry (a combination of relevant education and experience may be Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with daily deadlines while working within a team environment. Have a general knowledge and interest in food and grocery. 

This opportunity is a Level 9 – Non-management position and resides with UFCW local 649.
