Job Description
One of our clients is looking for an Animation Programmer in Toronto, Canada

  • Join Our Team: Become our Animation Programmer, shaping high-quality animation code for an unannounced multiplayer masterpiece.
  • World in Motion: Immerse yourself in a contemporary, third-person world built with a modern 3D game engine.


Are you the one?

  • Animation Mastermind: You excel at writing clean, logical, bug-free multiplayer animation code.
  • Engine Whisperer (Lite): Collaborate with the lead programmer and technical director to design and implement core animation systems that support our engine's long-term vision.
  • Code Crusader: Debug, optimize, and modify code to ensure top-notch quality, readability, and reliability.
  • Gameplay Guardian: Review, playtest, and verify code for correctness, robustness, and pure, unadulterated fun
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work hand-in-hand with designers and animators to translate the game's vision into functional, user-friendly animation features.

We Want You If:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or have equivalent experience.
  • You're an expert in C++ and/or Java.
  • You've written and debugged code within a popular 3D game engine (think Unreal Engine or Unity).
  • You have experience with both high-level and low-level animation systems.
  • You possess a deep understanding of video game genres and how animation systems are built.
  • You're a self-starter with exceptional technical and communication skills.
  • You have a passion for creating high-quality video games.


Bonus Points for:

  • Experience with animation or rigging tools like 3DS Max or Maya.
  • Knowledge of other programming disciplines like gameplay and AI.


Requirements
