We are seeking an expert tosupport the deployment of Data & Information SecurityClassification (DISC) using Microsoft Purview InformationProtection technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensiveexperience in deploying Microsoft Purview Information Protection aswell as a strong background in implementing other Microsoft Purviewsolutions andcapabilities.

Responsibilities
  • ConfigurePurview Information Protection environment
  • ImplementSensitivity Labels for dataclassification
  • Evaluateand validate requirements to ensure alignment with best practicesand identify any gaps oroversights
  • Supportthe IT project manager/Senior BA to close any requirementsgaps
  • Setup test environment in AI s Development M365 tenant and configurelabels in Microsoft Purview and classify data according torequirements
  • Performtesting and troubleshooting to ensure the data is properlyclassified and protected and performing asexpected
  • Provideas needed UAT training sessions to show testers how totest
  • Reviewand/or create test scripts and provide guidance on areas that mayhave beenoverlooked
  • Ensureknowledge transfer to AI s technicalteam
  • Createa technical specification document that contains the overall designsolution for implementing SensitivityLabels.
  • Providesupport during variousdeployments
  • Provideinput and expertise into M365roadmap
  • Documentdata treatment and handling guides data classification schematable
  • Technicalspecification document outlining the overall designsolution
  • Testplans and test scripts forUAT
  • Trainingdocumentation forendusers
  • Knowledgetransfer documentation and training for AIs technicalteam
  • Documentdeployment plans and deployment scripts (ifapplicable)


Requirements
  • Strongknowledge of Microsoft Purview with at least 3 to 5 yearsexperience in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview
  • Handsonexperience in deploying sensitivity labels
  • Provenability to troubleshoot issues test configurations and documentoutcomes
  • Knowledgeof the Government of Alberta s DISC deployment or other governmentor agencies who have deployed sensitivitylabels
