Your Contribution

As part of Englobe’s commitment to Indigenous participation and collaboration, this posting is specifically set aside for aboriginal candidates (First Nation, Inuit, or Métis). As a Hygiene Health & Safety Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Hygiene Health & Safety team. You will also collaborate and support other Environmental and Geo/Materials consulting groups within Englobe’s Ottawa office, getting exposure to a very wide range of environmental consulting services.

Your responsibilities will be:

Provide support to environmental consulting projects with appropriate mentorship and training. These activities will include, but are not limited to:Conducting field investigations and sample collection.Preparation of field notes, data analysis and evaluation.Submissions of samples to analytical laboratory.Participate in technical report writing or site inspection reports based upon established templates.Participate in project meetings, office meetings, health and safety inspections.Conducting project administration tasks as required, including time-sheet generation, organizing and filing, equipment calibration and maintenance.
Your Profile

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Proficient with use of MS Office. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and able to complete work within established timeframes. Team-oriented and an excellent communicator. Valid driver's license Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
