Field Technician (Summer Position)

Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin’s Sudbury office is offering a summer position for a Field Technician within the Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation group. 

This is an ideal position for any student looking for practical, hands-on experience to complement their academic program. As a valued member of our team you will do exciting, challenging work, solve real environmental problems, and make a meaningful impact. You will learn about the business and build your own professional network by working closely with senior professionals in the industry. 

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:

Conduct groundwater monitoring and samplingConduct soil samplingOversee Utility LocatesShadow and supervise drilling and monitoring well installationsInspect and test during environmental remediationsSummarize data and drawingsMaintain and enhance quality control within the groupLiaise between clients and contractors; maintain existing client relationships and build upon new ones

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

Pursuing a degree/diploma in either environmental science, environmental engineering, or water resources engineering Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook is requiredRelevant work experience will be considered an assetStrong ethical principlesHigh attention to detailCurrent and valid driver’s license with sufficient insurance
