Preschool Instructor

Description:

The District of Saanich is seeking a permanent part-time Preschool Instructor at Saanich Commonwealth Place. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, management, and instruction of our 10 month program for Preschoolers in our outdoor forest classroom environment. They will also implement and lead activities that provide experiences to promote social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development for children in preparation for kindergarten.

The successful candidate will work September to June, Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm

Requirements include completion of grade 12; 3 months experience in program delivery for 3-5 year olds and 3 months experience in preschool program planning. Employment is subject to the provision of a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) check no older than 6 months and Emergency First Aid and CPR-C.
