Position Summary

BCIT’s Operations Management Department is looking for a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE, 15 contact hours) Faculty  position available in its day school to teach courses relating to Business Operations Management. Duties & Responsibilities We are seeking an Instructor committed to quality and innovation in meeting our students’ learning needs, and who value the importance of teamwork in the workplace. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A practitioner and the ability to teach in two or more of the following areas:Six SigmaOperations ManagementProject ManagementQuality ManagementProcess Design and Improvement Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Excellent English-language communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Ability to work in a collegial environment, Ability to lead other instructors and be led by other instructors in a team-teaching model, PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution, Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, Membership or certification in appropriate professional bodies (e.g. ASCM, PMI, SCMA, ASQ) Additional Information Benefits – Why you’d love working with us
