Night Merchandiser - $25/hour - Temporary 6-Week Project

M30 Retail Services, Inc. is a Calgary-based forward thinking merchandising company that is setting the standard as a best practices merchandiser for retail companies across Canada. Our merchandising reps are dedicated, experienced, and our goal is to provide top notch merchandising services for our customers.

We are actively recruiting temporary merchandiser(s) for an overnight retail renovation project in BC - Nanaimo . You would be merchandising shelves, building displays, doing physical work, and general labour. Please note that the majority of work will be in the refrigeration/freezer department of the store.  Rate:  $25/hour + vacation pay Location: BC - Nanaimo Project Dates: Monday night September 2nd - Friday Morning October 11th, 2024 Availability: Sunday night – Friday morning shift, 10:30 pm-7 am – times may change 
*Please note that you must be available to work 40 hours each week for the entirety of this project. If you are on a student work permit and are limited to working 20 hours a week, please do not apply.  Hours/week: Hourly - Up to 40 hours/week hours a week
Job Responsibilities:  Implementing Planograms in retail stores Assist with renovation of store section General labour as required Physical requirements: Lifting up to 25 kg, on feet for entire shift

Successful Candidate Qualifications: 

Retail experience considered an asset (grocery/hardware is preferred)  Merchandising experience preferred Being comfortable working in cold (indoor) environements Planogram or blue print comprehension is preferred  Positive attitude, reliable, good communicator and fluent in English PPE required: Safety footwear, Work Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Vest Reliable way to get to the location (transit will be limited due to nights)
