Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Campus Administrator on our Dawson Creek campus. This position is responsible for the administration of the campus by playing a role in providing operational support for the management of the campus, including but not limited to facilities, student services, and community relations. This position is accountable to ensure that campus operations reflect and contribute to institutional mission, vision, values, and objectives, and plays an important role to contribute to the overall culture of the campus. The position serves as a bridge between all departments including NLC's internal and external College community. It fosters connections, provides support, and ensures a vibrant and inclusive environment for all.


Key Area of Oversight

  • Acts as a primary point of contact for the campus to internal and external people
  • Liaises with external stakeholders including Government agencies, school districts, municipal officials, and industry to promote the campus in the community and the college in general.
  • Opens doors for dialogue, address campus issues, provide advice, and foster interdepartmental and employee connections.
  • Serves as a face of the institution, representing NLC at community events and presentations. Ensure a strong presence in the community, including engagement with indigenous communities.
  • Provides logistical support for all aspects of campus operations.
  • Provides support for campus events, ensuring smooth coordination with facilities and staging. Assists in event planning and execution.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive campus environment by activity participating in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.



Selection Criteria Include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area of study.
  • Five years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
  • Class 5 driver's license as travel throughout the region is required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to manage change and conflict and can anticipates and plan for change.
