Locomotive Operator/Switchperson are responsible for providing safe and efficient rail car switching services on customer sites. Working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, the Locomotive Operators and Groundspersons must work well in teams to maximize efficiency and safety, while demonstrating a strong initiative and organizational skills.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Excellent teamwork skills Strong communication and written skills Strong customer service skills Ability to read and write general documentation including safety briefings and switching lists Physically fit including the ability to pull self up and down from a railcar on a continuous basis, able to lift and twist air hoses, able to secure rail car brakes, derails, and switches Ability to obtain certification and medical clearances required to perform the roleEducation & Experience
Valid CROR certification Qualified as a Locomotive Operator/Switchperson is a requirement Previous Supervisory/Leadership experience
