Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and oversee aging processes
• Execute Month End Close procedures in a timely manner
• Operate Sage 50 software for various financial tasks
• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and record keeping
• Manage small payroll processes
• Ensure proper remittances for Tax - GST
• Ensure proper remittances for Tax - PST
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeping role, preferably within the construction/contractor industry
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable - Aging
• Demonstrated ability to use Sage 50 software for financial management
• Strong skills in Excel for data analysis and presentations
• Proven experience in Month End Close procedures
• Experience in managing Payroll operations
• Knowledge of Tax - GST regulations and filings
• Familiarity with Tax - PST requirements and procedures
