Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Structural Engineer . Reporting to the Department Manager, Civil, Structural & Architectural, this position is located in our Saskatoon, SK office. Provide structural design and technical support including calculations, weld design, design drawing review, field investigations, and solutions for the construction or repair of industrial buildings, facilities, and services.  Write specifications and contract documents.  Review project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy.  Develop and maintain positive, sustainable client relationships.  Coordinate and working with project team members Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 – 8 years experience working on mining and/or heavy industrial projects is an asset Registered or have the ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. in the province of Saskatchewan. Broad scope knowledge of structural designs and an understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods.  Material design experience, which may include experience in the use of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and/or wood. Previous experience using SAP2000 is an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team-oriented and a creative thinker.  Demonstrates cooperation and decision-making abilities. Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
