About the role

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Senior Consultant to join our growing team

As a Learning & Development Senior Consultant, your work will have a big impact on the achievement of our goals. People will count on you to be an energetic and creative individual who can analyze, design, develop and facilitate various training courses for OPL.

You’re passionate about everything related to learning and creating engaging virtual instructor led, instructor led, and digital learning solutions. You’re a curious individual looking to implement the use of various learning and development approaches including technology in your instructional design projects. This is a full-time position available at all Intact offices across Canada.

What you will do here

Participate in the Learning Needs Analysis;

Defining learning outcomes and participate in the ideation process;

Implement instructional design and adult learning theory for further knowledge transfer across the OPL teams;

Consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to curate content and create learning solutions;

Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to develop strong, innovative, and technology-enhanced courses and programs;

Propose different types of learning materials that meet the needs of learners and context;

Coordinate the delivery of training programs which may include scheduling programs, liaisons with facilitators/presenters, confirming participation, booking training rooms/virtual sessions, producing and distributing training materials via the Learning Management System;

Scripting and storyboarding content;

Plan and follow up on stages of evaluation to demonstrate ROE and/or ROI

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Learning and Development OR related work experience;

Experience with Learning and Development

Experience with Operations and Planning for Contact PL, PL Ecosystem, CRM, Halcion, BDI, JIRA, Confluence/Share Point;

Knowledge of Agile methodology;

Knowledge of instructional design and theories preferred such as Learning Experience Design;

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;

Knowledge of Articulate , Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset

Comfortable presenting and facilitating sessions, adapting to the audience and various learnings styles;

Curiosity and interest in continuous learning;

Ability to develop varying levels of courses for a variety of target audiences;

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.

Creative out-of-the-box mindset and strong collaboration skills;

Work in an organized manner so that you can respond quickly to needs and meet tight deadlines
