Job Summary:

We are currently seeking Helpers based out of our Bridgewater, NS location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Load and unload waste materials under varying traffic and road conditionsCollect garbage and recycling materials from residential properties Be aware of surroundings at all timesEnsure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the taskEnsure safety of fellow employeesPerform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

Willingness to work in a team environmentComply with all safety policies and proceduresAbility to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properlyWillingness to work in all weather conditions Ability to lift 40lbs independently Previous waste and or recycling experience is considered an asset but not necessaryWorking safely is a condition of employment.
